Hi. I keep getting email from a yahoo group I tried to unsubscribe from. there is no link or button to use for unsubscribing from the group I would like to leave. I tried contacting the moderator of the group, but the email keeps coming. Any suggestions as to how to solve this? any help is appreciated.

To unsubscribe from a yahoogroup, send an email to the name of the group dash unsubscribe at yahoogroups.com.
For example, if I wanted to unsubscribe from cooks essentials, I'd send a message to:
cooksessentials-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Look at the header of the message and see what the posting address of the group is. You send the message just as if you were posting to the list, but put the dash unsubscribe right before the at sign. Hope this helps.

also, if you didon't want any emails from any yahoo groups at all, you could always block the addresses:)

I think what Anthony said is correct. Let us know if it works. I have subscribed and unsubscribed to many yahoo groups, and he gave the correct method.

So far, i havent gotten any more unwanted email from the group. I did block it so it goes into the deleted items. Will keep looking to make sure it did work. I believe it did though.

Rather than block the messages, I really think you should unsubscribe using the method Anthony described.
